fungicide

Hello,
I had a problem with a white fungus growing on the top of my sowed seeds, I asked the nursery (where I bought the seeds) if that would hurt the seeds and if so what should I do. They told me use a fungicide and follow the manufactures instructions so I did.
Its been 4 months and still sign of germination. My question is does it normally take this long or did the fungicide kill all my plants? :-(

What is it that you're trying to germinate? Some stuff can take that long, or longer while other stuff should have germinated by now. What genera are your seed?
