Fruity flys

i am looking to catch fruit flys, does anyone know how? i was thinking to get a plastic cup and put a hole in the top with some fruits underneath the cup. any better ideas?
i was wondering if i could put some fruits in my terrarium. the bugs would be attracted then eaten.?

The plants themselves should attract the buggers of their own accord. Just sit back and watch the show.

its in a terrarium, besides do you know how to catch em' lol

All I do is get a plastic container (Gladware) and toss in a few fruit - and wait. Like Field of Dreams, "they will come". When they do, just tap on the container and watch the fruitflies jettison, like bats from a cave - right into your sundews & butterworts.
