Oddly enough, there is an
Nepenthes amabilis
Hort. ex Nichols. (1888)
[=(N. rafflesiana × N. ampullaria) × N. rafflesiana]
listed on Wikipedia's list of synonyms for N. x hookeriana. I guess an exception was made, like in using N. viridis.
