Is ready to take this hobby to a whole new level
I may be wrong, but just by looking around here it seems there are people interested in Mantises that hang out here. I snapped a few photos of this little guy late in the summer, this is the best one. He hung out around my door at night for a few days, and then disappeared. No doubt to catch the little bugs that were congregating around my light. I just thought it was a nice picture, and might interest some people... Do any of you know what species it is? This picture was taken in south-western Ohio, about 15 mins from the Indiana boarder, sort of near Cincinnati.

Yes, definitely Stagmomantis sp.



I found some S. limbata earlier in the season. They are a nice genus.
