apparently i misunderstood about it being entirely proven, but what he was talking about was a problem we were working, and how one could not get a negative value for time, though in quantum physics, something something something (apparently he doesn't remember what he was talking about either)
He did say that there are a lot of papers that are easy to find by googling where people set up paradoxes and whatnot using "negative" or time in reverse, and quantum strings
