Wow great article! One thing I don't understand is why don't they try and re-introduce them into the wild? There is no shortage of VFT's in the trade.
 
Nice to see representatives doing something useful! They need to be careful about re-introducing them into the wild because the new plants will alter the gene pool and could potentially lead to a loss of the "wild" flytrap genes.

I love to see stuff like this happening!
Personally, I'd be fine with introducing standard SEED-GROWN plants derived from a diverse genetic line, so that you'd help increase diversity, but not flood it with clones or potentially introduce the genes for malformed plants (fused tooth, alien, etc...)
