First Nep Flower

A new leaf on my ventricosa opened today revealing my first nep flower. It might be too early to tell the gender but I'll post a pic anyway to see if anyone can tell me.

my ventricosa flowered a couple months ago and after that it stopped making pitchers but grew about 14 inches or so within a very short time. is that normal?

When it's done flowering, pitcher growth should resume. Not all Neps are like this, but many of them are.
