feeding dews!

i have an idea for feeding all dews that can handle d. melonagaster FF: just open the lid and sprinkle!! :boogie: This is great especially for large #'s! :boogie: And hydei work too!!

I used to set up little stations with rotting fruit, away from family and co-workers. I gave a little tap and the fruitflies jettisoned the stations, with some of them landing on pings and sundews. A little gross, but effective.

I've also left fish/meat/old cat food outside to rot, which attracts larger things like flies and yellow jackets for outdoor bogs. I also planted my bog right next to the compost bin :).

some people use sardines on plastic wrap right on the bogs next to the plants. but for indoos your best off starting a fruit fly culture. flightless fruit flies anyways :)
