Favorite Non-carnivorous plants

Yeah, I like huge sunflowers, too.  I think I'll try some more again this year.  I would like them to reach over our fence to smile at the neighbors.  

 We have 4 gingkos across the street from us in the park & a few cycads in the house.  

Well, how about lavender, naturally?    

  I thought I might try some white lavender this year, too.  I like perennials a lot, beauty with very little fuss.  Esp. like the fragrant ones. 
(Just love these little 'moti's)

Fave non carnivorous plant......thats a hard one.


In the aquatic side of plant gardening, when good plants are few and far between compared to terrestrial, my favorite is probably the oll java fern, for surviving pretty much anything and adding a useful green to the aquarium. Also because you can attach it to driftwood.
