Thank you Ktulu. They conspire to keep the prices where they are. Even on the station level. They have us by our jewels and they know it. Gas is something that is a must in todays world and until there is a wide spread alternative to it, it is always going to be a fixed market.

Do you have any data on the demands of oil over the last year? Do you have any proof that shows that gas companies are just padding the cost of gas?

If crude oil costs $126 a barrel now, and ~$90ish a year ago, wouldn't that suggest that maybe the cost of gas whether or not if we like it is fair? That the combination of our dollars value depreciating globally and the increase of oil demand from other countries such as India and China has made the price of oil increase.

Conspiracy theories, guessing and speculating really never help solve anything.
