False Vivipary

spat.jpg

My D. Spatulata produced a plant on one of its flower stalks. Anyone else have this happen before? I wasn't sure if it was a common occurance, but I havn't seen anyone else's plants do this.

It's never happened to mine, but still very cool! I've got quite a few flowerstocks emerging so maybe I can try to induce plantlets...

Those D. spatulata sure do look familiar...Where did you obtain such wonderfully grown plants?

I've had that happen to a capensis and I know that Cindy initiated a topic about that a couple years ago.

ITS LIKE A KEKIE ON AN ORCHID!
