ebay microscope purchase, good or bad deal?

The last retail price i can find is a 2009 price from Amazon.com at 838.00

Kind of seems too good to be true....

But of course, when i found the retail price was over 800 I figured I couldnt lose anything...

When its a "only one" type of deal, to post someting like that in public w/o locking it in is just bad mojo
Now, if elgecko's advice had been negative, I would simply turn around and relisted it on ebay after it arrived.

Removing the link is also prudent. Ive run across a really good deal before only to have someone email the seller and offer a better price after the auction was completed (assumed). Then recieve an email saying " sorry the item was sold on another website" and my paypal refunded.

You gotta play the game...
