Drosophyllum pods popping while seed is still green

So, my after years of trying to get this evil beast of a plant to grow for me I finally succeeded last year. Now one of my plants has bloomed and has a bunch of seed pods forming. But... so far 3 of the seed pods have cracked open but the seed inside is still bright green. Is this normal??

I have never had that happen to mine.
When my pods finally broke open I had black seeds. I take it the pods are brown and dry, that's when mine popped open.

Yeah the pods are brown and dry... But the seed are green as green can be... I may just collect and sow those and see what they do. Worst case is they do nothing and I have been there often enough with Droso seed LOL
