Dormant Bud Paste

I've read in the Savage Garden that there's a paste that can be applied to the dormant buds of a nepenthes and it will encourage growth of that bud.
But it doesn't give a name. It would be helpful if anyone who knew the name of this plant could help me.

Yep, That is what Peter is referring to, Keiki paste. where you get it, I am clueless.

Orchid growers often use a paste containing cytokinins. It's called Keiki Grow. It's advertisd in orchid journals, or you can find it with a web search.

So what its gonna make more growth points if you use it?

I've heard that you put it on the dormant buds of nepenthes and they start to grow, so when air layering I can knock off two things at one time!
