Looking for info on dormant bud hormone paste or powder or whatever as applied to Neps. Just got a N. gymnamphora and it is rather leggy and I would like to divide it but it has no basal growth, just nine inches of stem followed by a handfull of healthy leaves. Have you had any luck starting basal bud starts with this stuff? if so what was it, how did you use it and where did you get it? Also if you have any experence with gymnamphora I would love to hear it. Thanks!

Try allowing the growing tip of the vine to dip below the roots. This usually gets basals going.
