does anyone grow U. purpurea?

Ant

Your one and only pest!
So, I have found some wild utrics in a manmade pond (feed by a natural stream, the town just blocked the exit to make a fishing spot) recently and I believe that they may be U. purpurea. I was wondering how hard they are to grow and what your opions are on collecting. Also would they need to go dormant?

Well I am not an expert but I will try my best.

1. It is found it the Gulf Coast Region
2. It could probaly grow like any other aquatic Utricularia
3. If it is native to your state than you probaly can't collect it

Just ideas, but I really don't know
