ok i got a few pitcher plants and im pretty sure theyre dead. i havent done anything yet but is there i way i could tell theyre dead?

Sure! Dig'em up and look at the rhizome. If it is brown and mushy, throw it away. If it is solid with white tissue and live roots, re-pot it.
