Darlingtonia x germination

This is a little intraspecies cross I made using 'Othello' as the pollen donor with my "Venom" ( pet name). Good to see a decent germination. Now all I need is a 50ft x 30ft greenhouse to grow the seedlings on in.

I'd never imagined what Darlingtonia seeds looked like, but I wasn't expecting them to be fuzzy.

Very cool photos, Fred! I wasn't aware that there were any registered Darlingtonia cultivars so I did a little research. If anyone else is interested: International Carnivorous Plant Society

SWEET! Both the seedlings and the "Venom" plant. Sooo jealous, haha.

I want some of that seed, but unfortunately no plans to make a trip across the pond any time soon
