Hey, just wondering if I can keep my Regia in the tray that my dews are in? I keep my dews in a tray that is generally filled 1/4-1/2 " with water.
Thanks
Drosera regia doesn't seem to like anaerobic conditions for roots. They do better if the roots are kept well oxygenated. Use an airy mix, top water as needed and avoid standing water for prolonged periods.
If you put it in the same tray, I'd raise it up so the pot is above the normal water level.
Just keep it the same way you've seen mine: tall pot, peat/aps/pumice, top water or just a bit of water in the tray that is allowed to dry out for a while.
Cool pot! I made my own ceramic version, glazed gray with a bunch of holes all over it, now it looks like a volcanic rock. My regia's only an inch tall, though.
