D. indica seedlings die too easily. Why?

A friend and I both had D. indica germinate and after a few weeks they died out. They nehave like B. liniflora seedlings and dampoff. Is this what is going on?

what media mix are you using? i read they prefer sandy mixes.
also, they like it moist but don't like being too wet, so idk if you used the tray method on these or not, but too much water can be a prob.

The media was mostly LFS and I'll bet they experienced damp off. I do use the tray method.

I used the tray method too. I was using either 50/50 sand and peat or 50/50 perlite and peat. I bet they were too moist.

They like very sandy mixes, almost pure sand works well. They need lots of light and warm temps (around 80F) and drier soils. Let the pots dry out between watering. They also need frequent feeding if not catching plenty on their own.
