D. capensis Seed o_0

DrWurm

Californian in DC
Well, I just got back from Florida last night, and discovered that my capensis stalk was leaking seed onto my counter, i picked off the stalk and deposited the seeds from each flower into a tray. Damn.

Not to mention my other capensis is sending up a flower stalk. AND the capensis that produced this seed is sending up another one.

Looks like your flowers were pretty fertile, or big...The capensis shooting up my next flower stalk is a bit larger.

Here's some microscope pics....just for kicks and giggles.
100x (this lens is permanently fuzzy)

Gotta laugh becaus between U. subulata and D. capensis, it's like a competition as to which species will invade the most pots.

Subulata I think is more weedy since the stalons can be hard t find,
I grow much less invasive urtics so I am guesing on that subulata is very weedy more so than capensis.
