I stuck my big one (in the background) in a west window....It got toasted, still doesn't look healthy but is putting out new leaves. Luckily the little root plantlet it sent up decided to not die. So I've been coaxing it along and it seems to be doing well.
I'm growing them in an undrained pot under 2, 4 ft fluorescent tubes at ~5k lumens. Hopefully they do okay.
D. adelae only gets hard for me when it dries out...even slightly. i let my momma plant dry out to much and now its gone. pity...it had a beautiful red color. i just found a baby the sprouted in one of my pots. HOORAH! once it gets overly pot.
congrats on the kill! the first thing mine got was a mosquito
