D. adelae leaf cuttings to plantlets in one month

Two leaf cuttings were taken on 4 Jan. As of today, there are 18 plantlets from them. :-O

Buds were observed on 16 Jan. Three days later, some of the buds had developed into leaves and were about to unfurl.

Ten days later, the plantlets were of a good size to be tranplanted.

Some even have their own roots!

Plantlets with roots were removed and transplanted. The photos show significant growth in just 3 days .

Not only an impressive yield but very nice photo-documentation, Cindy. I feel inspired.

Nice photo sequence.
D. adelae is lots of fun to play with. It's so prolific that it's not a disaster if an experiment fails.
