So I've been going to this site for around 5 years now and the pictures span the last 3 years. The pictures go from most recent to oldest.

Winter/Early Spring (Mid March 2012)

The pink flower is a Rhexia, possibly R. virginica. Once they're in your collection you cannot get rid of it.

Phil and I were discussing this a few weeks ago. The S. x catesbaeis look a lot like S. alata. Someone might have planted some there..... Any chance you could go back during flowering season and snap some shots of the flowers?

Alrighty folks, went to Croatan this past weekend with jht-union where we spent Saturday exploring on our own and on Sunday we met with a newer TF member, wakeboarder (a native of Newbern, NC) and we explored some other parts of Croatan. Without further ado, here are the pics which will probably come in about 4 or 5 posts.

Lets start with some sphagnum!
