Cephalotus question!

To the left I see new pitcher growth but what is in between on the crown? Is it a new leaf? Just curious because this is my first cephalotus plant.

I repotted it about a month ago. That's as far as the pitcher has opened.

Yup, it's a leaf. They also often produce weird intermediate leaves that are something between carnivorous and non-carnivorous leaves, which can be cupped pretty dramatically

So then that's what we probably see to the right on the crown or just another leaf making its way up. Also added a new photo of my ceph.

Applied a top dressing of silica sand. I think I am addicted...
