Cephalotus in TC Media . . .

Every other year or so, I divide up my Cephalotus plants and take a few leaf and rhizome cuttings; and here is a tiny piece suspended in 1/2 strength MS media, now exhibiting new growth. Apologies for the blurred second photo; or as my father once said, "It's a poor worker who blames his tools . . ."

Cool!
How exactly do you do that and with what solutions?
So far I know the enviroment has to be sterile and have 3% succrose.
I am very interested in doing this for trading plants:D

It is far too involved for a detailed explanation here. I would instead refer you to www.flytrapcare.com and its tissue culture forum. There is plenty of information to be had at that site -- everything from safety procedures; the maintaining of sterility; to the mixing of media . . .
