Has anyone tried to make leaf cuttings of a Devil's Claw?

Hmmm, now there's an idea! i just got an ibicella yesterday, and i was wondering if you could propagate it by cutting too! you took the post from under my fingers ;) lol

I doubt it. When I accidentally snapped off leaves and their respective petioles from walking around mine (trying to water), they fell onto the ground and did nothing. After a day or so, they just dried up and died. They are very flimsy... like pumpkin leaves.

If you find anything make sure to share your findings with us... ;)

you'd have to keep them very very very humid, because, as joosa said, they are very flimsy and at risk to drying out.

Maybe submerge them in water, like a D. binata cutting? Because they do branch from the stem...stem cuttings would most likely work as well...good luck!
