calycifidia flower stalks

I was hoping to get some seeds or something from all the flower stalks my calycifidia sent up but it doesn't look like anythings going to happen. now that the flowers have all fallen its just a bunch of bare stalks. Can I just cut these off?

You can cut the stalks. Besides, just letting them spread is the more reliable way of increasing the colony.
