"Burned" spot on new leaf

One of my VFTs has two small black areas on the edges of one newer leaf (trap hasn't fully developed on it, but it is fully extended). It looks like it was burned, almost as if someone had put a cigarette over it and left it there. Just one leaf, and the areas affected are small.

Is this something to worry about? Do I keep an eye on it, or remove the leaf?

Don't worry about it. It sometimes happens to me, especially in spring. Only cut of the trap if the whole thing goes black.

traps sometimes dont develope right just always observe your plant it should be fine though
