brown slime??

hi guys.

so i know that if green slime/moss grows on top of the mix, i can just scrape it off right? do i do the same for brown slime? whats the difference between the brown and green moss anyways?

It may be a matter of lighting or what spores happen to be present (just guessing). Still, I would scrape off the undesirable slime and make sure what you have going has good lighting and good air circulation... and maybe a tad less water.
