Are these shoes actually practical? I mean one actually can walk like 5 miles in those? Or are they just for show to display your uniqueness?

they are usually for show, ive walked much farther than 5 miles in my boots lol, but i got those back in my "goth" days. now im just your average european metal head xDDD Blue jeans/camo pants and a band tee lol!

Clean! I'm not used to seeing boots that clean. The only boots I have are black rubber barn chore boots, which get covered in... umm fowl deposits from this one (on the right LOL) and his kin. LOL
