Body-sized pitcher plant

ha ha no, that's a myth from the Victorian age of plant exploration. There are large plants and flowers but they could not possibly trap a human. even in the vaguest sense of the word.

Nope, they dont get much bigger than 14 inches, and thats only the largest of the large.

There arent any carnivorous plants that are dangerous to humans in anyway, unless you choke on them of course. ???

My unlces biology teacher tried to tell them there was "flesh eating plants" around a lake here in MN but at most they would have been Utricularia and Drosera, nothing like a sci-fi man eating plant as such a description brings to mind.

Not a pitcher, but...
