Can i run an Iwasaki 6500K bulb on a S50 HPS ballast? this is the bulb i want because it's got the best kelvin rating (i was given the HPS ballast so i can't complain).
people on the reef forum have said i should be able to, but i want to check with you guys before i shell out 65 bucks and then have it blow up in my face and my ballast burn out.

i can't find a conversion bulb with a high enough K temp. the best i can find is a 5500K (or around that number) unshio MH conversion bulb.
