jiana54, no matter what the size of your plant, they ALWAYS feed upon INSECTS. For baby CP, I recommand feeding ants to your plants. It is normal that a baby purple pitcher look shrimpy, but as years past and care, those pitchers will grow bigger. Hope this helps.
