Assassin bug or western conifer seed bug nymph?

Hes tiny...like 1cm in length...got this shot with my cam through a microscope
he has a long thin proboscis hidden under his head that runs down under his body...
when he is threatened he poses up somewhat similar to that of a mantis...

most likely an assassin nymph.. totally cool bugs! to find out for sure toss in a tiny ant and watch its reaction.

the key to tell assassin bugs is a ridge they have going between their eyes. Hard to tell from the photo but see if you can distinguish it under the microscope.

assassins i think are a bit bigger then that, we have them all over our farm every summer. Pretty neat looking and we also have wasp/hornet killers too :D
