Application that prevents third party companies from collecting your data

A lot of people here feel that no third party programs or large internet companies should be able to track and store your data, which I of course agree with. I just found this opensource program that blocks all access from known third party programs and companies including google and facebook. I just got it and it seems to work well, here is the link for the site and a video explaining how it works.
