I am fairly sure that this tree is a Majesty Palm. It came from my cousin's wedding and his mom gave it to mine. Knowing that they have nowhere for it and always looking for something interesting, I adopted it and brought it home with me. I've been reading all kinds of mixed messages saying everything from "low to medium light" to "need LOTS of light".
Most sources say that they are difficult indoor plants because they need lots of light and lots of water. Hmm...sounds like everything else I'm growing so I'm up for the challenge.
Any advice from those that may have grown these things? I'll trust this group more than I'd trust most garden centers.
