After many months of research, the answer is no: A Nepenthes ventricosa cannot survive at -15 F (-40 F if you add the wind factor). My Neps spent two straight days out in the rain a week or so ago, so our weather in CT has been somewhat different from yours. But we'll drop into the single digits tonight, which is the coldest we've been this winter. We still haven't had any snow on the ground this winter and I don't think we've been below 0F for 2 years, which isn't right.
