Alternatives to Artificial Rooting Hormone

Interesting, thanks for the post! It seems that available energy from glucose/fructose is contributing to the advantage of honey than the effects of phytohormones. I should look up if auxins are in honey.

Aspirins are actual acetylsalicylic acid (modified SA). So it is not exactly same as the natural phytohormone SA, but it has been shown that you ASA can act similar to SA in some cases (I do use aspirin water for my plants when they need it). Also, I though SA is more of the inhibitor than promoter of root formation.
