alata "pubescent" flower

OK, the said flowers (two) are only 1.5 inches tall (that is the flower stems), although the flowers themselves seem to be full size. Does this seem normal? It's the first year this plant has flowerd . Thanks, Jack

just wait. i think flower buds get big then the stem grows tall. im getting my first sarr flowers this year...

Some plants naturally have very short stems.

How tall were the pitchers last year? The flowers stalks are usually as tall or taller than the first pitchers.
