I'm growing CPs in the Desert of Tucson, Az

These plants have been outside for at least 1 year, through all the winter and summer the desert has tossed at them. The Drosera menziesii from @bluemax , a winter grower, is showing its "age" as we've already been in the high 80s so don't hold that one not being super dewy against it, it was much better before the spike (I think you can see all its catches). The big pot full of tokiensis, a few capes and more of bluemax's menziesii has been outside since i potted it in 2023, its dried a few times but there is still one or two flytraps I started in it as well: Thread 'My outdoor Tucson, Az Venus flytraps and Sundews' My outdoor Tucson, Az Venus flytraps and Sundews

Wonderful and amazing. If you can grow these successfully in the open in a desert climate they should certainly be happy in normal household humidity. And it makes sense - the mountains of South Africa and many regions of Australia have low humidity for at least part of year.

How long is the growing season for your tuberous sundews? My auriculata seems to be dying back a little already from the Southern California heat waves back in Jan and Feb

It's a funny thing about D. capensis. I've tried to grow them in high humidity in one of my terrariums and they don't like it much. They are now thriving on my windowsill at household humidity. Not all cp's come from a swamp.
