NJ Pine Barrens Trip

Where: (New Jersey Pine Barrens) Wharton State Forest. Atsion camp grounds.

When: This years camping trip will be Friday July 16 - Sunday afternoon the 18th.

Like most years I will be there first thing in the morning on Friday.
I leave Thursday after work and Geocache the whole way there and arrive late Thursday / early Friday morning.

Ron and his wife are planning on heading there on Thursday as well.

I have camp site #10 and Ron has #8.

Like most years, nothing is etched in stone. We explore by car, foot and boat. Boat being the best way to see the nature all around this wonderful place.

Here's an idea of what the area looks like.

Allaire State Park is North east to where we will be.
From Allaire State Park it looks to be a little over an hour drive to Astion.

I wanted to leave work at 11:30 or noon today to finish packing. Did not happen. I just got home now and finishing gathering the items I need and heading out.
