Very pretty indeed.  Hard to say for sure on the N. alata.  The clone B I carry originates from Exotica as well.  Although I would think that if another vendor is propagating it they would keep that information on the label.  I would ask them.

Hay, if you really want your plant to take off right away, fill the pitcher up at least halfway with a solution of half 2% milk and half sugar water. Add a recomended dose of superthrive (for this method i actualy use 3 drops per cup just fine), and fill the pitcher up. This will shorten the pitcher lifespan, but as it ages the rich fluid and nutrients will be rapidly absorbed, and you get a big boost in plant growth.

I'll have to remember that for my Neps. Does it start to smell at all? I would imagine so once the milk starts to get all old and nasty...

so you actually tried this before? O.o
 
I've done it many times with new plants that have healthy pitchers. I only do this treatment with newly arrived plants to help them adjust and keep growing fast despite being packaged and repotted. It works very well. I sometimes feed the solution in small amounts to my other plants, or just use strait milk. You can even spray it on the leaves, but don't let it collect too much in the soil. I've noticed that when I don't feed the plants with this, they slow down in growth considerably.

You should have the exotica form. Exotica is the only nursery with a flowering reddish pitcher veitchii (veitchii H/L), and they were the ones to cross it with truncata. Most of the progeny have reddish pitchers as well, much like what you have.
 
I don't have any recent pics of my truncata x veitchii. It grew outdoors for a long time and didn't pitcher once. So I have it into several pieces and put them into the greenhouse as cuttings. They've struck and are producing little pitchers, but nothing that's worth photographing. Maybe in 6 months time when they've gone through summer.

My reference to "H/L" and an abbreviation of "highland". Many growers abbreviate highland and lowland to H/L and L/L, or HL and LL.

Exotica aren't the only nursery with a flowering-sized lowland red/pink veitchii, I have one and so do two friends, one of whom owns a nursery. There have been quite a few crosses between truncata and veitchii, dating back long before Exotica existed, especially in the US and Japan. Remember, growers such as Cliff Dodd were hybridising before many here were born. They tended to swap or give away the progeny of these crosses rather than sell them. Remember, just because Exotica is selling a hybrid doesn't mean they got there first, it just means they sell it first. There are people who produce hybrids and trade them amongst other growers, who object to the commercialisation of the species. You'd be amazed at what things are growing in some people's collections, that you'd never hear about unless you are well connected. But that is in the nature of any collectable.

BTW, this cross has alot of "hair" on the stem and on the underside of each leaf. and it seems to emerge just like a veitchii. but truncata , the shape of the leaf, is still there very much on the stem and leaf.
