I mentioned in another thread that a store nearby came into possession of a bunch of neps that were a little rough, had no pitchers, and were really cheap. I just bought some of them that look like good cuttings candidates. They average under 8 bucks a pop. Here's a pic:
Two are N. alata x...
Well, now that everything seems under control, (no more plants will be dying, i hope), here is the death list, which i am a bit upset bout:

utricularia tricolor
3 unknown utrics
utricularia livida

Hello,
Ok, my memory is getting bad here. I know i owe purplesundew a sarracenia wrigleyana (Wasn't there something else too?), Copper a utricularia gibba (send me your adress! ), and pond boy, snowyfalcon, ebeyonder, goldtrap2690, and (someone else from singapore, can't remember his name at...
This is sooooooo confusing. This pic that I found while searching for info on S. minor on the Internet is labled ''S. purpurea ssp. purpurea''. But it looks just like my wrigleyana. I really don't think this is a purp! Does it look like a purp to you???
Thankies,

Okay... here's the situation: I got a four foot tall, two foot wide, plastic/metal, clear vinyl covered greenhouse for my brithday. I have all my CPs in it. It has four wide mesh shelves. I have all my VFTs and my venosa and my wrigleyana and my adelaes on the top shelf(that's all I can fit up...

I have them all in a 1:1 peat moss/perlite mixture. They are in an 8" pot with drainage holes within another 10" pot...
'Hummer's Hammerhead'

Something I got from Home Depot a month ago. Not sure exactly what it is. It wasn't labelled when I got it. Thought it was leucophylla...
Hi All,
For three weeks I eagerly awaited the special promotion my local Armstrong's Garden Center was having. They were going to offer "large" cp's. Turns out they just had some sarras, but REALLY nice ones! They are in 6 inch pots and I bought 3 (plus some small vft's and pings). But back to...

DOH! I have these little back things on my n x wrigleyana. They don't seem to be hurting it.... yet. I don't want to take chances. Can anyone reccomend a pesticide that's nep-safe? Thanks.

S. flava (probably an intervarietal hybrid with var. maxima and something else)
S. leucophylla x oreophila
S. oreophila and S. leucophylla x wrigleyana
S. (oreophila "Sand Mt." x flava) x leucophylla, fully opened just this morning.

My little bog seems to be doing OK, in fact it's been great, but the center plant is a S. purpurea venosa that can't seem to make new leaves that last.
The new leaves are coming out pinkish--as if there were no chlorophyll in them. They are smaller than the originals and don't seem to last very...
Hi everyone,
Can someone tell me the parrentage of nX Wrigleyana? I did a google search, but all I found were a few pics, dead links (or, more likely, they're blocked by my work server), and Sarrecenia info.....
I won't mention where their from but I finally got them.
The first is a 12" diameter x Effulgent Koto cutting
The second is an 8" diameter x Wrigleyana cutting
I'm still waiting for my other 12" diameter x Effulgent Koto
Is it just me or do some nepenthes cuttings just look like a plant growing...
I have a few new plants coming out very soon...
