I received this one this week and I'm curious what your immature plants look like (seedling pitchers). I was under the impression this plant made jacquelineae sort of pitchers right away (as with jacquelinae) mine however are taller and tubby bottomed with many fringe hairs and a slightly fat...

Hey all,
Had to throw out a photo of N. jacquelineae with a pile of ants it has been dining on. Kind of hard to see, but it loves 'em! Also updated the photo page as well. Here's the link to the jac page: Nepenths jacquelineae
Hope you all enjoy the insect carnage and new photos.

Esteemed Colleagues,
For some reason Wistuba is the only seller of N. pervillei and has now pretty much given up on TC ing the plant. This species seems to be very difficult to come by. I've read some threads that it's around in Europe and can be grown as a lowlander / intermediate and that it...
Thursday night Darla got the wild idea that we were going down to Colorado Springs to visit a friend of hers over our 4 day weekend. i didnt feel like the long drive but after some negotiating i agreed we would go. so we left Friday morning at about 9 am, i drove all the way down to Gillette WY...
I have attempted to create a list of all the known and currently recognised species of Nepenthes. Of course this list is by no means complete or even exhaustive, but it does give a rough idea of the number of species known. Please let me know if I have missed any species out, or if you have...
Here are some photos I just took of my N. jacquelineae.
Here is one with my hand for size but I have very big hands, I'm 6' 2" and can palm a pro basketball off the dribble so it is a little deceiving.
Let me know what you think.
thanks
-Jeremiah-
