Hi i'm jht-union,
Some people know me already like SDPCs, i have started growing Venus flytraps in june/july of 2010, and recently just 4 months ago i believe i have started to grow sarracenias, but my addiction to this plants have let me not just to grow sarracenias and VFT's, just recently...

Hello people,

Hi all,
I'm planning on setting up a mini bog, and my question isn't about media, containers, etc., but about the plants in my mini-bog.
I have a Sarracenia hybrid (saved it yesterday from a nursery that out of nowhere stopped caring for their CPs, but kept charging full price, and it only says...
I've got my mini-bog all setup and will be moving plants that have been growing well under CFLs in a terrarium to outside. I plan on placing the pot on the east side to get some less intense morning sun but am a little weary of placing it on the ground. Any ideas how to keep curious animals...
Right, like i said over in my introduction thread, I finally managed to get my hands on some CPs today. Sadly, all of them in more or less poor condition and with no ID tags ;/
Would be cool if you guys could help me slap a name tag on these babies D: For what it's worth, all of them came from...
Howdy ho folks!
Been lurking around for quite a while and decided to register seeing how I FINALLY managed to find some CPs in these parts, so I figured I'd take a few mins and introduce myself :)

Hey all!
I just found this forum and thought I'd say hi! I got into CPs in December from a thread at Aquariacentral (fishkeeping forum) about the little critters. I'm already hooked! So far I'm keeping Droseras (Scorpiodes, roseanna, capensis, intermedia "cuba", and adelae); Neps...
I'd like to trade a few d. capensis alba seedlings for some basic VFTs, Sarrs, or other Droseras. Still just trying to grow my collection, so not hoping for anything fancy. If anyone has a spare Dente or Sawtooth VFT that'd be awesome.
These germinated in early December 09. This week I'll be...
So I stopped by the nursery down the street to pick up some supplies, and ended up coming home with a couple new kids instead!! I guess they have a deal worked out with a local teenager that is supplying them with CP's. They had a bunch of VFT's, Drosera's, and Pings.. So I brought a couple...

To my the most beatiful CP are:
Cephalotus ( I don't have seeds :-( )
Helianphora ( I don't have ambient :-( )
Dionaea ( I have 40 small)
Also The Droseras are great (I have 60)...

What is the best way to do it? plz explain good.

Okay y'all, I need some brainstorming concerning WINTER. You know, that season that plants'll go into dormancy. (I know that officially, Autumn is next, but you know:-() Last year, all my Sarracenia rhizomes, VFT's and Droseras fit into a 3.5 gallon bag, which I plopped in the fridge for the...
So here's my P. moranensis. I repotted it in 100% pure perlite (no vermaculite or APS locally), but I'm hesistant. I'm thinking of lowering the soil level a bit, I'm not sure how much capillary action the perlite has. (I.e., will an inch of water under the perlite get the moranensis's roots...
