I was curious if anyone has ever come across a page showing D. binata seed germination in magnified detail?
I'm watching my cultures germinate, and it's been really interesting so far (1 week in). I have a 20x eye magnifier, and it's amazing the detail I can make out.

How hard is it to keep fruit fly cultures? I figure its pretty easy, but I wanted to know what you guys have to say about it. The reason why I'm keeping them is because I plan on getting Mantids (fruit fly's for the small instars), this is besides the point though. Thanks for any help.
Does anyone watch vlogs? One of my things I like to do is watch vlogs on youtube. Like from Arabic people or Irish people or Australian people. It's REALLY cool to learn about other cultures.
I have to look up words like haraam and halaal and.. dowry and jummah. It's pretty cool though. Right...

I am looking for some detailed instructions on how to propagate CP’s with tissue cultures. I found some info on the Net but it didn't get into very much detail about the agar, and what cuttings or tissues are used, etc. I realize it’s probably complicated, but the info I saw didn't look too bad...
Hi,
Pardon my ignorance on tissue culture. Why can't people like Wistuba or Bob Cantley, do their tissue cultures straight off cuttings from plants from the wild, rather than from plants grown from seeds? Plants from seeds take 2-3 years to mature and by then only discovered that the plants may...
