Yet another update on capslock's ventrata

Whole plant. You can see that the basal shoot is producing all the pitchers and the first vine has nothing but tendrils on it(some of which have withered). I think the plant is now maybe 2 years old.

This pitcher actually looks like the adult ventrata pitchers I've seen in the photo. About 2x the size of the ones it used to produce.

This is the basal shoot's first pitcher. It is very funny looking. Peristrome is greenish but the pitcher itself is red. Also the opening in very small and the pitcher is quite squat.

I'm sure if their were ants around they would be going for this one.
 
Thanks! Is it unusual that the original vine isn't inflating any pitchers?
