Wild sundew

Hi all!
This photo was taken last August when my girlfriend went home for her birthday. I can't tell you where it was taken, because I don't know. Apparently there were hundreds of the things all over the place, and some had flower stalks

Some were almost as big as your hand, some were really tiny.
On closer examination of the photo, there are tiny little 'dews growing up through the litter on the ground (bottom left of photo) I'm really pleased about it!
Can anyone tell me what it is? I know it's a pygme sundew of some kind.

Mark, nope that's a D. rotundifolia!

Nice specimen too!

Pygmy's are only native to Australia.

Very nice photograph of a Drosera rotundifolia. I miss seeing them in my own backyard since I moved to the desert here in Tucson, Arizona USA. If the hand-sized ones had more eliptical leaf blades, then they may have been Drosera anglica.

Although most pygmies are native to Au, D.pygmaea can also be found in New Zealand.
