What is Your collection?

Hey all,

Since we all like to brag about our plants, I figured I would start up this thread that we can all add to, update with our newest acquisitions and so on...

In the interests of keeping this fair, only list your private collection, not anything your growing for sale. (That would be kind of rude towards our hosts no?)

So without further delay! I'll start it off!

Here is my list.

Various Drosera including all above species (Thanks Zach!)
Nepenthes X Gymnaphora (On it's way)
Nepenthes Bicalarata (On it's way)

BTW,

Not currently open for trades. That is not the point of this thread, but you can take it over to the trading post if you want!

Everyone loves to brag, so this will probably become a huge thread. :)

1 S.minor

5 s. ?
2 Drosera binata T-form- they keep dying :-(
3 Nepenthes alata (gave most of em away)

And of course more orders are on the way...

Patrick

a collection is a collection, whether it's one of 5,000.

I love all my plants, from the flytraps to the Nepenthes, though I will confess that my Nepenthes have absolutely grabbed my 'fancy'. While they demand a more stringent environment i.e. humidity and what not, but believe it or not, I fond they need less care than temprate species... for that reason alone, I am considering holding my current temperate collection where it is and only expanding in Nepenthes... naww... that's crap.. I want to cram that 36" planter with about 30 more plants next year... who am I kidding!

Oh well. Many of my plants are small and newly acquired. My single biggest problem is not enough growing room--that's why I have such a huge need for a greenhouse. Writing this has been fun and very therapeutic for me.
                            Nice topic,:)

Huch !

Noone who is growing Aldrovanda or Byblis or Heliamphora or Genlisea or Roridula or... ?

I wondered, because I never read discussions about them in this forum...

The CP world is more than Nepenthes and Sarracenia (at least for me ;o) )
My favourit plants are Heliamphora ionasii (I don't have one ( ) , Roridula dentata (have some now ;o)))) ) and Nepenthes edwardsiana (the "true" one) (uuups... a Nep ! ;o) but I don't even know, if this plant has entered cultivation)

happy collecting

I would have a tough time listing what is personal collection so I will say instead that my goal is to obtain at least one clone of every Nepenthes and Heliamphora species. Ideally I would like to get 2 or more of each with opposite sex on the Nepenthes so we can get some sib crossing done! I also have some other things .. normal and red dragon vft, various Drosera and a couple Sarracenia and Pings. Can you tell I am partial to Nepenthes and Heliamphora?? hehe
